Amir Khan: Besides his KO defeat, has he ever been shaken by another fighter? Has he recieved any "gifts"? I can't think of any.... what do you think was his worst fight?
Willie Limond almost KO'd him (did drop him) Gomez Dropped him and hurt him to the body Prescott dropped him and KO'd him I think he touched down against Drilzane? He was also down multiple times as an amature (Watson fight springs to mind) It has to be said though he has improved drastically since then, he is at a better weight class for him too.
Some people even think Limmond actaully ko'd him, he got knocked down then got up and took a knee again. Bit of controversy.
It's not like he got up from the knock down and needed to take a knee lest he fall down, mind. He was just bewildered by the referee's insistence on giving him the mandatory 8 count. I don't know why, you'd think he'd be used to them.
Any fighter that gets into the ring with anybody likes to tell themselves they can KO the other guy. Its just what boxers do. And no, he don't have to fight Bradley, Bradley is 26 and nearing or at his peak. Amir Khan has just turned 23 and you don't win a silver medal at 17 years old by being a **** fighter. Haters can say what they want, Amir Khan is talented, he has just ****ed up and made mistakes. And furthermore Amir Khan is 5'10 and was fighting at 135, everybody has said that his body was built up wrong, with little legs but strong upper-body, all this has changed now. I think his chin is still suspect but I think having stronger legs, better defence and obviously being more filled out means he will take harder shots. I hate repeating myself to haters.
Who has the clip of Khan getting knocked down in the amateurs by that one cat? One of the funniest KDs I've ever seen.
