This is easy work if Clottey sticks to the gameplan Roach will throw in the towel

This comment made me laugh. This is a boxing forum, no one could give two shits whether you have a masters degree, or whether you are making it up that you have a masters degree to impress people over the internet... :patsch

Anyway, Im going for Pacquiao either SD or UD. Although I hope Clottey makes him work hard for it, unlike Pacquiao's last 3 opponents. Clottey could pull an upset...

It won't be easy for either guy... Although I truly believe Clottey will catch Pac coming in and hurt him somewhere around the 4th and finish him off somewhere around 8, Pac could very well take enough rounds to keep it close in the end.

And if that happens, I don't think anyone here can imagine a scenario where Pac would lose a close decision.

Tragically I think you'll lose your bet!

Clottey doesn't have the speed of hand or foot to cope with the Pacquiao assault. He will have his moments but they will be few and far between.

I see him stopped late or the decision will be wide!

    Good luck though:thumbsup

Exactly, if it's close after 12, Pacquiao wins.

Clottey's best chance of winning in my opinion is his tight defense, a higher than normal workrate, and his timing has to be spot on. If he can cope with Pacquiao's speed and hurt him on the way in, or out like you said, you never know...

Lol NBA that's some faith you have in Clottey, and balls to make such a large bet.

But if Clottey wins, more power to you. Hell what's the current rate right now for a win/lose?

there's a greater chance of clottey knocking the **** out pac with a hayemaker than seeing a beatdown.

Clottey has handed more beatdowns than knockouts. He beatdown Judah, Corrales, Alvarez, Flores, Cruz and to a large extent Cotto, even Margarito(when his hands were ok) and Baldomir. It's more likely to be a beatdown of Pac than a knockout in my opinion.

    But Clottey will definitely win.

I'am a big pac fan but this is a bad bad bad fight for him, i was stunned when i saw he was taking Clottey after Void bitched out. If Clottey lets Pac have a breather during rounds then he'll lose but if he presses for the full 3 min then pac's going to tire around the 9th onward. He's already done enough miricles but this may be asking one too many.
