Even better for him he gets the fight on HBO so that could possibly take away won obstacle of his matchmaking at 140... http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4988184
ys he fighting over 140??? I know hes found it hard to get fights but surely there is someone in his weight class who can step up for whats really a make time fight. Good thats hes on HBO tho i want to see how good he really is.
it's a bad move. Bradley can make 140 easily, and he's fighting a guy who has genuine knockout power. Although he should be able to desicion him, if Holt who has average power at 140 can knock Bradley down, a 147-pounder with good power has a puncher's chance. It's good to see him on HBO but he could have taken a safe fight while he waits for Khan or Alexander. Props to him for taking a high risk/low reward fight like this.
he's the #1 140 pounder in the world dats not good to you? Come on bradley wins by ud and you know khan will never fight him
Will be a good test for Bradley. THere is alot more money to be made at 147 at the moment so maybe he is ready to cash in.
Holt has above average power. The only reason his KO percentage is so lo is because he doesn't let his hands go on account of his glass jaw. He can crack though.
Holts main problem is his ability to punctuate fights when he has fighters hurt. Holt is a very underrated puncher, probably in the league of Bailey if you ask me.
This is a good fight for Bradley. It gets him on HBO and it sets up a nice fight between he and Alexander for the fall or winter.
I know the headbutt set it up, but he put Torres' lights out with that straight right. He had Torres straight sleeping on those ropes.
It sucks that the commissions don't order mandatories and fine fighters/managers for not fighting the top notch fighters of each weight class. Just like everything else, it's abountthe money.
