Pavlik beating smaller men right now does nothing for him. If he loses to either Martinez or P-Dub, it will be an embarassment to him since we all know why he ducked AA. They had the nerve to even think that PAv beats Calzaghe. Calzaghe would've beat Pav's punk ass. PAv was in good with me up until he didn't tell Arum he wanted AA. Pav's fighting these guys who have no big fan base, and uses this as to why he never fought AA. Let PAv live in his own turmoil while his fans have to brag about him for us to even talk about him...
Calzaghe would've taken the shot because it would take Jones almost the entire fight to finish him even in Jone's prime, and he still might not finish Cal. Jones win a UD imo, but he takes anything Roy has to offer... Both Jones and Cal would beat the tar out of PAv probably with one arm...
?? Then answer me wheres Paul? No lieing about that--Where is he? YOu avoid the question like the plague.
Okay I'll give you that one, but I'm from the UK, so him being from the "Midwest" means jack **** to me. He is an over-rated egotistical disrespectful little **** who can't take his beating like a man.
I like the angry sounding Pav. Maybe he'll grow a pair and go to 168 and fight somebody with a pulse instead of fighting good/great smaller men and bums at 160...
Naturally, because Hopkins had not looked particularly dominant in winning the title and had been schooled by the best fighter he'd faced. Pavlik was an undefeated KO artist who twice smashed one of the sport's bigger names in Taylor. It's therefore unsurprising that Pavlik was more popular. Hopkins also had just as much TV exposure as Pavlik did on the way up. Trust me, I have the career sets of both and there isn't a disparity in the coverage of either of them. Pavlik got $500k to fight Espino, which isn't much more than Hopkins would have been getting around that time.
2011, Kelly will move up to 168. He was recently in Cali and when he got back, he weighed 186 (all upper-body muscle). He's down to 180 and is leaving for Fla to train after the Pac fight. I have never seen him in this good of shape or this big. He looks great!!!!
m8--Espino went longer than that. how did you get to the number 3? I would call that very debatable m8.
