Why shouldn't he? He had something in his glove which was intended to hurt his opponent. That is cheating. This is a sport we all love. If a friend cheats us we probably will not be that person's friend anymore, what is different about boxing where something like this can hurt a fighter permanently? And with Tyson, I am not excusing Mike, but Mike did not go into that fight saying I am going to bite Evander's ear. It was a reaction. I am not excusing it, but with Margarito they had something in that glove prior to the fight. Now I am not sure what it was. No one has been specific, but something was there which shouldn't have been, and no way his trainer and cornermen knew about it and he didn't. That thing in his glove would have hurt his hand almost as much as it hurt his opponent. I am not saying positively Margarito should not box again or be allowed, but if the commission said he is not allowed to box I would not protest. This is a great sport. Cheating should not be allowed. He could have seriously hurt his opponents. Almost unforgivable from the standpoint of the sport of boxing.
