I don't think Clottey's weight will help him. Might help him take a beating better but he needs speed to catch Pacquiao. He needs to be lighter footed than usual.
Watch Smith he knows what he was doing he was leaning in he didn't want them to work inside. I know Tony was hooking his arms but Smith sticking his arms out like he was doing **** all lead to the deduction even though they were both at it.
You're right on both accounts. Clottey is nothing special but has certain attributes that make the fight interesting. If nothing else it will a big, durable tough guy for Mammy to show his offensive prowess against. But hopefully it'll be competitive and Clottey will try not to make the same mistake he made against Cotto, although funnily enough, keeping an economic workrate and a tight defence is the best bet for him to stop him shipping big punches. If Clottey really is one of these iron chinned behemoths that occasionaly come around, it will be much more interesting. I just see Pac outlanding him big time. I wouldn't rule out a mercy stoppage late rounds.
