First off, so what Floyd never demanded the testing for anyone else. Floyd did not suspect any other fighters that he fought of cheating. Second, Shane and Floyd are being tested. Third, whether you or any other ******* believes Floyd is out to clean up the sport is irrelevant-who ever fights Floyd will have to be tested which sets a good precedent even if you think Floyd has ulterior motives.

Floyd is asking that everyone take the test, and Shane is the first to agree to be tested now that the fight is made, not PAc. Why does Floyd...who is undefeated have to save face on anything? Floyd didn't demand PAc take a blood test, he asked, and PAc agreed. I would not take a test if someone demanded I take the test...

His 40 other fights weren't against guys who have brutally knocked out 4 bigger men consecutively. I can't think of any other fighter besides Pac who has had that type of streak against solid competition. His fight with Pac would be the biggest fight of his career. Part of Floyd's promotion power lies in the right to brag about his unbeaten record. If he wants to keep that strong he's going to make extra efforts to keep winning.

If Pac has a right to be 100% mentally prepared for his training, why shouldn't Floyd have the right to be highly confident that he is getting a clean fight? Sure, Manny has never failed a drug test. I'm aware of that. It's not his fault. It's the Commission's fault for not implementing stronger rules for testing. My feeling is every fighter, including Floyd is a suspect. I see nothing wrong with this.

You're right, it goes both ways. The contradicting statements, that is. In the beginning Pac's camp said they have no problem with Olympic style tests. Then all of a sudden they change their tune, you know, sorta like how Floyd changed his mind about the fight being easy. I guess everyone has a right to change his/her mind. But it's considered unprofessional to commit to something and then back out at some point. That goes for both camps.

 

Because you could get hurt for all of the wrong reasons?
