Quintana is the perfect opponent for Berto and a serious threat to expose him when it's all said and done.

So many questions about Berto ... the jury is out on so many counts ...

Thoughts on this fight and El Indio's chance?

I tend to side with you on this one. I think Carlos is seriously under rated, and Berto is a bit over rated by some. I'll have to watch some video to get into detail.

Quintana is so unconsistant, he goes from getting the **** beaten out of him by Cotto, but then outboxes P-will.

I think Quintana has a decent chance in this one, as you said, Berto has some flaws that I think Quintana has the skills to exploit.

He gave Joel Julio his first loss ... he won a welterweight title giving Williams his first loss ... I don't see Berto being any different from them. The one who's inconsistant is Berto.

I actually think the second Williams fight may have been a bit of a fluke. Goosen and Williams seemed to have zero interest in a rubber match.

I agree, he is inconsistent however, I am not a fan at all of Andre Berto. I don't dislike him but just not a fan. He has speed and power but that fight against "iron twin" and these weak 47 lbs's and jr welters really make me think he is due for an ass whooping by a legit contender. I thought Lazcano won their fight.

I like Quintana and all but I have to pick Berto to win this fight, I think either by late stoppage or UD.

I'm not saying it WILL happen, but I do think Quintana has a great chance at pulling off the upset. He's done it twice before, so he's certainly no stranger to these kinds of odds. Whatever the outcome, I predict a close decision victory.

Quintana is all about rhythm and range, if Berto can disrupt one very well and/or both he wins. The question is will Berto box him or brawl it out?

Easy fight to predict, Quintana will defeat Berto,No doubt about it

Berto is still too green,Hes a flawed fighter

Hes very lucky that his fight with Mosely was cancelled,A brutal beating was heading his way in my opinion

Anyway I see Quintana outboxing him and even possibly putting Berto on the canvas

    Carlos Quintana by Decision 116-112/117-111

If Quintana doesn't throw any headpunches I'll start getting really suspicious. Urango took some under the table money, me thinks. I don't trust this matchup. But yeah... Carlos can win. If he tries.
