Williams has a good chin, the Martinez KD in the first wasn't that big of a deal. He ate a million punches from him. However Williams doesn't use his height most of the time and he fights too tall on the inside. I can see Jackson catching him with short powerful hooks and uppercuts like this. But Jackson can get hurt too, and Paul has a lot of workrate, but him fighting too tall on the inside means he will get hit by punches he doesn't see and this is Julian Jackson... p4p the hardest hitter, or at least one of them, in the history of boxing period. I can see Julian completely KOing. It would have to be early though... or it favors Williams.
It would be early, believe me. Paul's defense is non-exsistant, and although his chin is GOOD..... its not great. Jackson would ice him within 4 rounds, and Paul would be out for several minutes. The fact that some ppl are favoring Paul is a testament to how overrated Williams currently is.
Williams gets hit way too much. Although his defense is more shaky against lefties, it's not exactly great against orthodox fighters either. Jackson should find him, and get him out of there.
These are two of my favorite fighters of all time... but Julian Jackson by brutal KO. Long Tall Paul just gets hit too much.
For a round or two at the start it looks like Williams will dominate, and then he either leaves himself open or Jackson digs a couple of brutal body shots in (Jackson's body work is underrated, he hurt guys very badly with his combos to the body) and then comes up to the head, and Williams is, at best, in desperate trouble. At worst, he's laid out cold Tv Tropes reader?
