Dan Hardy has a lot of confidence about him, and he's able to talk ****, but him saying the "GSP nuthuggers" will be in mourning come the Sunday after UFC 113 is a bit much.

I'm not sure Hardy will live to see the Sunday after UFC 113 after GSP murks him.

Hardy seems like a cool guy but the answer here is clear.

you think hardy has what it takes to last 5 rounds with GSP. i wouldnèt bet on that outcome. i dont see why these guys talk **** about gsp. they dont need it to sell the fight.

Some blokes like to talk smack no matter who they are fighting..Not my style..

But hey whatever blows your hair back...

As u said aint really needed for a GSP fight...I guess Hardy has a punchers chance forsure.

i see it going 3 rounds at least for sure, i see pierre pulling the alves strategy.
    take down/rough him up a little bit/repeat.

yeah i think that will be his game plan in most his fights from here on in. how durable is hardy is the question? i've only seen a few of his fights.

The t hing about the Alves fight is that GSP hurt his groin in the third round, I think. I honestly feel that if he hadn't pulled it, he could have finished Thiago on the ground or on the feet. More than likely on the ground.

I think Hardy's going to get a lesson in what if feels like to be on the receiving end of a ground and pound strategy.

GSP is a better fighter than Dan Hardy in every way. He employed the ground and pound on Alves because Alves is a strong striker. He snapped Jon Fitch's head all over the place with punches and kicks because Fitch is a great wrestler. But GSP strikes, wrestles and submits better than Hardy does.

For sure he'll ground and pound him, but he'll decisively win the stand-up war as well.

GSP inside the distance, no doubt.

Luckily, the Sunday after UFC 113 the fight will have been over for months...so he should be all healed up from his beating...

Yep, I'd love to see Hardy win even though he's a bit of a dick (I'm British) but can't see it. He's overconfident. I think it could be done within a round.

I like Hardy's confidence and I like GSP humbleness...but when the smoke clears, GSP is going to do a # to Hardy...GSP is on another level from Hardy and I see GSP wrestling Hardy to death...He's going to be on him like white on rice...ala GSP\Alves!

i can't be real confidence though. no way this guy can really think he's better than GSP. i know fighters need confidence or they are ****ed but this is just talk coming from hardy to look like he thinks he belongs in the same class as GSP.
