Calzaghe wants to Help the Viking Warrior Tame the Cobra

I think Froch needs more than wins over Kessler and Abraham to go above Calzaghe.

Those two, Andre Ward and a decent light heavy or two and he's there.

Froch has already beaten Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell in less than 30 fights - at the same stage of his career he's streets ahead.

 

I doubt this so called offer of 'help' will involve much more than a phone call. I can't see Calzaghe going out to Denmark to offer any hands on assistance.

 

Joe, in a couple of weeks, won't be able to solve what caused Kessler's downfall against Ward, ie, being a bit soft (mentally), robotic and not throwing combinations.

 

Froch won't present the same problems as Ward though.

 

I swear down if Froch stops Kessler I am gonna travel to Wales and find this **** and laugh in his ****ing face about how the COBRA did what he couldn't. He's a ****ing bell end

 

Because Calzaghe, in his later career, was well renown for his power wasn't he?

Very true. But Joe hasn't fought Froch, so what's he going to help him with? He can't overhaul Mikkel's style that quickly.

Besides, Froch will test that mental fortitude of Kessler's again. I was quite shocked at the way a former 'world' champion reacted in the circumstances.

I think Froch will win to be honest but any of the five possible outcomes are a real posibility in this fight so i'm just looking forward to it to be honest.

 

Froch needs to be in his grill all night.

 

I don't think that Calzaghe can really help Kessler, I just don't think Kessler has to solve the problems that became apparent in the Ward fight or overhaul anything because of that fight in order to beat Froch.
