Gaz, i'm not trying to fill anyones shoes pal

I just ****ing dispise all this bollocks that comes from Calzaghe everytime he thinks his name maybe slipping away from the spotlights.

He should shut the **** up or come out of retirement and fight someone without a bus pass. I bet you Froch would take himself out of this tourny to face Calzaghe too, he wants it that much. Calzaghe wouldn't have stepped anywhere near the conference room to do a deal for a tourny like this let alone take part. Him and his gobshite father should **** off and retire to Newbridge and not bother the boxing fraternity again. He's an enemy to the game.

You see I do. Froch will, to quote Oscar, "make it a rough and tough fight". Plus I think Kessler will be damaged goods after taking that beating. If Froch stays in his grill, I think Mikkel will wilt.

We'll see mate. IMHO that loss wasn't a career changing beating, it was "just" a loss. Rather than trying to fix what cost him the fight against a slick mover like Ward, Kessler would be better served concentrating on what got him the 30 odd wins before the Ward fight.

But Ward completely outfought him that night, landing punches on the inside. Admittedly Froch is quite poor technically, but I think he can pressure Mikkel into a fight; which would favour Carl.

You really think they would make such a bog stink of it then mate? Froch has conducted himself like real rubbish. Carly handled himself like a punk when Joe was still fighting. So desperate to get where Joe was, its just rubs me all wrong. At least Joe would turn them tables on top of you and you get a fight. Old Carly can hit the bricks m8. He's bloody awful. He can drink all the glasses of wine with his mum that he wants, but its all jus' a sham for the camera's.

Joe has some class and can see right through the kid.

yep, if Froch can get in his face then he has the punch and chin to beat Kessler.

I just don't see the need on Kesslers part, aged 30, to try and fix the faults in his performance in the Ward fight when he fights Froch.

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham back to back in my eyes is more impressive than anything JC has on his record. I am not interested in all time lists, but these 2 were about in the same era.

It's certainly a pick 'em fight now imo. I wouldn't have said that 6 months ago.

I'd have put the house on Kessler to stop Froch six months ago.

Now..... cautiously Kessler on points, but no outcome would surprise me.

Do you all think AA will chin Dirrell after being messed about for a few rounds? I do.
