before he gets in too deep?

I think he'd actually do alright at 154 but 160 would be pushing it too far. Not that I think they'll venture down that path. What are your thoughts?

I think he'd do okay against Haye, but the Klitschkos might be a step too far. :D

Well he made 145 and not 147. I don't really think he can go much higher, he has to eat 5 meals a day and all that sort of stuff as it is now. So I don't think he can or will go higher.

154 would be too much for him. TBH, I'd take at the very least Martinez and Williams to beat him at that weight. Even Foreman wouldn't be an easy match-up because dude uses his height and reach well.

    160 would be ridiculous.

i think 147 is tops as i see some fighters at 147 that i think would beat him however as you look down to 140 or 135 he wins all day

With or without roids? I'm sure he can make 160 with the needle in his corner.

barely can make 147 why move to 154?
besides no need to move up with so many good names to fight below 147

Yeah I mean hes got a god 147 and 140 is also really heating up so those two division can hold his interest for a while. Plus moving up and he'll start having to deal with height issues even more then now. I mean at 154 you have guys near or pushing 6' so he'd be giving up 6 inches to them. And Williams is 6'2" so that's 8", I mean that would not be an easy challenge to overcome.

147lbs is his limit. They were only considering Foreman at 154lbs to chase for an 8th world title, and the fact Foreman has very limited experience at world level. As pointed out by someone else, there are a number of fighters who beat Pacquiao at 154lbs.

At 154lbs, Pacquiao loses even more speed, and his power becomes less effective. His frame can barely hold 145lbs without having a little excess around the waist.

160lbs is not an option, he would have no chance. Basically he would be entering any bout at that weight, overweight.
