Yeah right the same monster Clottey who lost to Cotto (who couldn't see right most of the fight) is now favorite over Paq who utterly dominated Cotto??

Clottey is no way a KO artist or powerpucher..... and loses in every aspect to Paq except weight and height/reach

he didnt ask you what your reaction would be, he asked what your excuse would be if pacman wins.

    see the difference?

i understand that. but if i said i would be shocked only....then i wouldnt have an excuse, would i? see the difference? an excuse is given, many times, to undermine the accomplishment of one, and justify the defeat of another. i wouldnt justify clotteys loss, if he lost. and i wouldnt undermine pacs victory, if he won.

Me too, will be shocked if Manny wins this fight. One thing for sure, after today he will not want anything to do with this division. No doubt in my mind.

And if CLOTTEY pulls it off, then ILL be shocked

Im rootin for Clottey and hope he upsets Pac,But its not going to happen

Look for Pacquiao to DOMINATE Clottey and win a very wide UD

Looks could be deceiving and in boxing, mean little, especially when a figther always looks that way; this was the case in the weigh ins. Clottey always has and most always will look more impressive at weigh-ins than his competitors. He's a big WW with very little body fat, tight skin and ripped. Pacquiao looked as good as any other weigh in he's had in that range.

the point is he couldn't even handle Cotto pretty well even though Cotto couldn't see right---> could't fight at 100%
and he didn't even look very good in that fight

Why on earth would anyone be surprised if Paq puts Clottey to sleep, i don't understand why people try to hype him, he is decent but i would be shocked if he puts up a real challenge or goes the distance with Paq

I can't see any upset tonight. I think Pac will be too quick and win a UD.

no ones trying to hype him. cotto lost to clottey. clottey is the biggest ww that pac has faced....and the strongest (pac said that himself). thats why it would be a surprise. is it hard to understand that? its quite simple.

You shouldn't be shocked, you should be impressed , but not shocked.. Pacquiao is expected to win in honesty , within most boxing circles.. Clottey is a respected fighter and in many peoples eyes has a great a chance as any Pac foe .. but he is probably going to look gallant, and just fall short on the usual class and speed factor.. I hope like we all do that it is an entertaining battle, but Clottey is the man who will pull the shock if he actuall gets the W... God bless...

I strongly disagree with the original comment; size doesnt mean squat when its only a few inches. Theres nothing wrong with coming in lighter then your opponent when speed is your biggest asset. Pacquiao is working his way into welterweight as well, its good preparation for when Floyd demands a 147 lbs limit when negotiations come around again.
I wouldnt call Clottey's power devastating either, his KO record is mediocre, his body shots may be good but Pacquiao can take them easily, he has one of the toughest bodies in the game. Youve got to give props to Alex Ariza.
