When its 40 million dollars..would you REALLY care

You must not watch boxing because they've included this as part of the negoiations for catchweight fights for years and years. The dollar value has been different but the purses were lower, but the concept has certainly existed for ions.

 

its so simple...mosley took test...we have a big fight....purses are good but not 40 mill

Now is the test crazy yop...but would it hurt...no...specially seein as how PEDs are starting to be of significance in sports throughout. For 40 mill why not just take the test and prove ur not on anything....it just doesnt make sense not to.

 

If we are to respect Manny's principle, why then is it so foreign to respect Floyd's?

 

i cant see how u can respect his principle....i mean i get all the not given in bullshyt...but think about how much more u get when just taking an unprecedented test in boxing CLEARING your name and then whooping the ass of a great fighter in Floyd...oh...plus the 40 mill.....i dont see how u can let this go....i just dont respect PAC's principle when in taking the test has a better outcome....even if he loses its still a better outcome.

 

Oh I agree igot. I was just pointing out the double standard. Some folks are saying that Manny doesn't have to answer to Floyd, and Manny is standing on principle. However in the same posts/threads they say that Floyd shouldn't have asked for testing and should have dropped his request. What about Floyd's principle? What about what Floyd believes in?

I think people have the right (For lack of a better word) to determine what a worthy or valid principle to stand by is.

 

lol.....and everyone is easy to Floyd....or at least 99% of his opponents...the fighter who won the most rounds against Floyd was DLH and JLC. ANd DLH was his biggest and most formidable opponent. Other than that Floyd has dominated everyone so I understand why he is so confident and cocky....b/c he normally backs up ALL the talk in the ring on fight night. So based on the track record and consistancy Floyd is know for I took what he said about Manny at face value....why would I question Floyd who is so predictable? We are not talking about disagreeing opinions. We are talking about people saying that one guy can stand behind his priciples (regardless of whether we agree or not) and the other guy can't stand behind his.

Judah also won a few rounds, and the rounds Judah won were cleaner than the ones Dlh and Castillo won. Fight talk is fight talk, and not everyone sets out to do what they say...as the fights just don't always go down te way you think they will-credit the other guy. Styles make fights Chuck... Yea...but I think Floyd lost those early rounds to Judah based purely on ad******g to the speed of Zab. Once acclimated to the speed you saw the shift that was like night and day. It wasn't gradual...it was instant that Floyd took over the fight. I agree that sometimes "FIGHT TALK" is just that..."TALK". But with some you come to expect what they say as being true....or that you completely believe what they are saying leading up to the fight. Floyd is one of those guys.....Jones was one of those guys.....Ali was one of those guys. Their confidence was so compelling that you just believed that they were going to dominate in the fashion they said they would.....and 9 times out of 10 they delivered.

Man.....I don't take this **** too serious. I enjoy debates and talking about boxing. Even though we disagree on a lot I do realize you have a good knoweldge base about boxing....you just are sometimes blinded with Floyd's man juice at times so you're logic is at times warped. Of course the answer is yes. You could get seriously hurt, injured, or maybe killed because your opponent was on PEDs. Boxing is dangerous enough and PEDs increase those potential dangers. That's like sleeping with a woman that you believe might have an STD. If she refused to get tested, would you be dumb enough to still sleep with her?

I was born here but my family is from another country. Different places of the world have different values than just money. It's not like that everywhere. I don't see why people aren't understanding that.
