Is Calzaghe just desperate for a bit of publicity, after his promotions company went tits up and as his resume falls apart he is now getting worried that Froch might end up looking like a better fighter. If Joe hates him so much why didn't he just get in the ring with him??

It reminds me of Rocky III when Apollo trains Rocky.......

I would prefer JC to come back and be the one to beat Froch though,
If Froch were to win this super 6, then the money would probably be there for it to happen!!

Dont think money was ever an issue as far as i know, Joe was offered very good money to fight Froch but always made excuses such as he didn't want to give Froch a payday and he wasn't a big enough name.
I have no ill feeling towards Calzaghe but I do wish he would have took the fight 2 or 3 years ago, the fight will never happen now as Joe as too much to lose in terms of his legacy.

Beating Froch would have done nothing for Calzaghe.

Does anyone think people would in hindsight have seen Froch as a worthwhile opponent after Calzaghe had made appear like a journeyman?

One could argue Froch doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same forum as Kessler.

Yet people here are describing Kessler vs Froch as a 50/50 'fight'.

It is all very strange and unnerving to see.

There is a 95% chance Kessler will win this fight.

I would give Froch about a 15% chance.

If Kessler breaks his own spine by punching to powerfully during the fight, then Froch has at least some hope of winning.

Kinda how I see it as well. Froch was a nobody till after the Pascal fight. Calzaghe would've beaten like Lacy and got even less credit for it.
Will be a little surprised if he get's past Kessler but its certainly possible.

    WHAT........ THE........ **** ????

There is a 95% chance Kessler wins and a 15% chance that Froch wins ?? How does that add up :rofl

And 15%. You need your head testing.

Froch has a more than 15% of winning, I'd give him 35% chance and Kessler 85%.
