Floyd is lucky that while he was retired Pac moved up to WW and gave him a chance to come back and play the vilain against a smaller man that could net him a 50-million dollar payday -> not a joke but it works the other way around as well
considering both are considered the best welterweights i would say he does matter for his legacy. clean the division and truly be the best when you leave. leave no doubt in no ones mind. at the lighter weights 130 they were both amazing. the two fighting was a joke itself just a few years ago. floyd may not make 50 mil fighting anyone else but his revenue speaks for itself and without him he still makes better paydays. money management is another story.
