Runde 2 Richards is one reckless donkey. He jumps on Huck with two-fisted windmill assaults. Huck leans back on the ropes and waits for Richards' wildness to inevitably create a clinch. Back in center ring, Huck picks Richards off with lead right to the body and hooks upstairs. Richards is taking a more patient tact now - meaning that absolutely nothing is happening as Huck just watches and waits. Richards now the ones on the ropes as they exchange a bit. Huck is getting the better, and Richards' upper body is wobbling. Huck trying to blind Richards with a jab that he leaves glued to Adam's face and then swing around a power punch that he won't see coming. Richards moving his hands enough to dissuade Huck, although none of these "counters" are landing. Again Huck had very anemic output but still landed better. 20-18
I'd call it 1-1. Huck landed the cleaner shots in Round 1, but very few of them so I gave it to Richards workrate. Round 2 was better all-around for Huck as he landed cleaner, more, and stunned Richards.
Runde 3 Richards begins this round in familiar fashion, immediately giving up his height by charging right in. Huck trying to check hook off the backfoot. Richards is slapping these counters away with a "kitten swatting a ribbon" defense while boring forth with his head straight up. Huck knocks into the ropes and down Richards with a short right hand. Richards looks pissed off as Giammatti-clone applies the count. Richards decides to go toe-to-toe with Huck and gets pummeled with hooks and right hands after making the mistake of pinning Huck in the corner. Giammatti-clone intervenes by literally tackling Richards (already in the process of teetering) to the mat. TKO3 victory for Huck. Nobody puts Marco in a corner.
