This forum was set up to discuss Irish boxing. Basically by Ardy (he of the the superb links every day)

Discuss. Not nut hug. Not be stupidly optimistic if you don't think an Irish prospect is good. Its not the Irish Fanboy Forum. Its where the few of us who care about, and go to watch regularly, get involved in, get to voice our OPINIONS.

This isn't the happy idiot thread where you can only say nice things or get ****ed off. What I say is the truth from my perspective. No more, no less.

I'm not just going to cheerlead an Irish boxer and make him out to be more than he is just because he is Irish.

Can somebody clear up when the fights actually start tonight?

Sky are saying coverage begins at 2am, but the first fight is at 0002 and Duddy is on at 0030 ????

 

That's 18.30 Dallas Time, surely he's not the first fight on the card.:huh

edit: I didn't read you post right there, Still seems very early to put him on!

 

Ladbrokes says he's the second fight.

Says Castillo is first. Then Duddy. Then Soto v Diaz (at 2am apparently). Then the main event.

But I'm a wee bit confused about the timing of the whole thing now. Different sites are saying different things.

 

Those are the televised fights, can't see them starting at that time when there's another 6 fights on the card!

 

I would have thought it would be later than that, going by previous showings.

 

As far as I can work out Duddy is first on the televised card. Lots of other fights before tv.

TV Order:

Duddy fight,
Gomez v Castillo,
Soto v Diaz,
Pac v Clottey

Show starts 9 PM Eastern USA time, 2 AM our time. (8 PM Local Dallas time)

So expect Duddy on about 2.10 AM!
