I was waiting for this response.

He has a good jab, and is one of the most dominating in this era, but I don;t think it's the best.

That is why i rated lewis the best i had seen LIVE. not the best ever. i never got the chance to see any other from your list in person. but in my opinion late or otherwise lewis definatley had one helluva jab. if you think different you are a fool.

I rarely defend Wlad or give him props, but when it comes to his jab. I honestly feels it's either the best or top 3 the division has ever seen. I been hating/watching Wlad for many years, and I'm still amazed with his jab. I sit back and watch his fights closely hopping he will get brutally knocked out, but I usually end up seeing Wlad dictate and win a fight with just his jab.

Wladimir has an amazing left hand, both jab as well as a left hook that has dropped several opponents. His left hand, alone, has won a few fights. One of the best left hands to date, in my opinion. I think his reach, combined with his speed and power, together, that is what makes Wlad's left hand so effective. THey just can't deal with it. Its like the pervervbial 800 pound gorilla in the room. LOL

A younger Golota also had an impressive jab.

My muhammad ali dvd set came in yesterday from netflix and I watched the first liston fight completely again and the 1st patterson fight too.

Ali's jab was unbelievable. Even though I still think holmes' was better.

Holmes was good. Lewis is top 2 or 3. Wlad's is getting there as well.

Absolutely awesome video showcasing Liston's jab. It was fast, accurate and powerful. ATG skills and to me, GOAT jab.

Holme's jab was the best. His jab was what made him a long reigning champ. He controlled his fights with the jab. He controlled his opponents with the jab. If you could not avoid his jab or get by his jab you could not beat Holmes. His record speaks for its self.

It doesn´t matter if it is a function of his size. He has that jab. There are taller fighters who don´t.
    You get it??

    Right.

    Julius Long...........where's his jab?

    Tye Fields............????

Wlad's is so effective because he has the size, and the speed and skill. Never before has the sport seen such big guys, as the brothers, be so skilled.

In fact, its the first time in boxing history that such great big guys, over 6 foot 6, were so skilled.

Mike Tyson had a very underated jab, he hardly used it, he prefered close quarter fighting.
