Pac v.s. Clottey - Predict the score

Cottey all the way. Lets all meet at this board after the fight.
This is going to be Manny last fight in welterweight.

 

If its decision no doubt Clottey just can never win, they will just screw him up by this impartial judges.:verysad

 

Pac by a clear 6 rounds, although I think he'll stop Clottey within 7 rounds anyway.

 

Yeah, 117-111 sounds about right.

 

Pacman TKO 9. However Clottey wins 2 - 4 rounds.

 

I originally picked Clottey because of his underdog status but i'm not sure that he can because of his attitude. This is the same influence that many of DLH's opponents were under, they were just happy for the opportunity and couldn't handle the spotlight. This is too big of a stage for Clottey ... I think he'll give it his best and may even stun Pac ... but I see this being Pac's fight to lose.

I'll got with 117-113 ... if anyone's getting knocked down it's Pacquiao ... if anyone's getting knocked out it's Pacquiao ... this is going to be his first fight since Marquez to go the distance. It's going to be hard for Clottey to cut off the ring and to corner Pac ... in addition to that he can't punch on the go, to his advantage if he lands flush, he can lure Pac into a brawl.

 

You know what, I smell a ****ing upset right now. I keep seeing Clottey catch Pac in my head with a hard uppercut or hook when he[clottey]is on the ropes after a Pac attack.

I'm gonna go with Josh and predict a stoppage againsed Manny.

IMO, Clottey is much tougher than Cotto and Cotto was stopped on his feet in the 12th. What makes you think Clottey will be easier to stop? Worse defense? Too little offense?

 

If it goes to UD, 118-110 maybe. I still think that if Manny throws punches in bunches and Clottey covers in his turtle stance to often, the ref may stop the fight and give a TKO to Manny.
Clottey has to throw more often.

Pacquiao throws way too many punches for Clottey.

I will be very surprised if this fight is even close. Pacquiao is all wrong for Clottey.
