Round 6

They do the jab dance for 90 seconds. Duddy begins to open up on Medina and back him to the ropes. Medina gains some space with a hookercut but Duddy is still not giving him much ground. Duddy now whacking the body anytime it's within reach, and bringing his attack up to the head whenever Medina doesn't take the cue to get out of harm's way. Medina tries to respond to Duddy's aggressiveness with his own ferocious body attack toward the end of the round.

Duddy has evened it back up.

 

Round 7

Jab, jabbedy, jab jab jab. Medina throws an uppercut, well below the beltline - ref doesn't see it and Duddy doesn't complain. Medina's arms now floating as he throws them - he lands a jab flush but the "2" that comes lazily behind it sails over Duddy's head. Ref warns Medina for low blow (second warning so far, the tone indicates a point deduction is next). Duddy is letting Medina jab with him and then issuing crosses into his face as Medina leans his upper body to slip, but no longer has the energy to do so fluidly. Duddy getting the better overall, until the very last second of the round when Medina catches him big. Duddy buzzed, but won the round.
