    Lampley making excuses for Top Rank, saying that this portion of the PPV was supposed to feature Margarito and justifying this atrocity with Tony's inability to get licensed in Texas. They really could have done better. This is making Duddy-Medina look like an extremely difficult act to follow.

    Oh, by the way, 90 seconds of the round went by as I typed that. What happened? Gomez jabbed. Castillo lunged and missed. Damn it.

    Castillo throws an uppercut dripping with molasses that Gomez just stares down his nose at. Without Gomez even backing up, Castillo then manages to miss a hook. Gomez is just picking at Castillo's bones with potshot jabs, occasionally turning them into half-assed 1-2-3 combinations to back Castillo up (the 1 and 2 landing and the hook missing).
