why do you spend so much of your life on a boxing message board? it's clear you don't know a damn thing. i don't even understand how any human being could possibly understand 99.999% of the things you post.

Can't say I blame Clottey. After seeing what Manny did to Hatton and Cotto he'd have to be crazy to stand toe to toe. Sure, he could have gone for it a bit more in the last 4 or 5 rounds but he realised Manny wasn't going to slow down and decided against it. If tonight is anyone's fault it's the Pac/Mayweather camps for not getting that fight signed. Clottey isn't in Manny's league and he knows it but he got offered good money for tonight and came out with his brains intact; fair play to the lad.

Is Kellerman ******ed? How good does he think Manny's English is, that he's throwing words like "impasse" and "compromise" at him?

It felt pretty much like the PBF-JMM fight. Doesn't add anything to the winner's legacy and so one sided it isn't a good showcase for boxing. Hopefully PBF-SSM will be exciting.

I'm surprised the newbies calling this a farce and all that actually support Mayweather, CLEARLY temporarily and they will jump any other bandwagon if things go wrong(Mosley?). Mayweather also uses movement, speed and counter punching when he has his opponent in situations where he wants him to be. Was this any different than the Baldomir fight?, wake the **** up please.

Great win for Pac, loved the combinations and loved the show overall even though I can understand the newbies who don't understand what they're watching and can tell what confusion they're going through unless they're acting just to carry on pointless hate. Can't wait to see more of Pac, amazing fight and a great title defense against a guy many thought beat Cotto.

By the way, was Margarito asking to be hired as a spit bucket guy when Pac fights Mosley/Mayweather winner next and got declined?, need information on that ASAP and I'm sure two or three here would know since they posted photos of Margarito's tampons after the Mosley fight I'm sure they will have answers for this.

    Some significant differences.

Floyd was fighting a little guy that he forced to move up, and then still ****ed him over on the weight issue.

Pac was fighting a big welter weight who's fought a lot of other top WWs and never been dominated before.

    Pac shut him out.

This win is better on Pac's resume than JMM on Floyd's.

lmao @ floyd fans trying to downplay this impressive performance by Pac

acting as if half the division can do better and Floyd would of got the TKO

Those are very good points, cuch. And ultimately that last sentence is difficult to argue with.

However, some food for thought: grade Marquez's effort against Mayweather (just effort). Now grade Clottey's effort against Pacquiao.

    Now compare the two grades.

Clottey said it himself in the interview. Pacquiao scared him that he couldn't throw enough shots. And he's the bigger guy.

Marquez SHOULD have been scared of Mayweather because he's the smaller guy, but wasn't.

Right, but that speaks more to Clottey's lack of mental resolve and Marquez having it in spades (already proven in both his wars with Manny) more than it does to how intimidating Pacquiao is or Mayweather isn't.

Ultimately, Pac put on the better display (offensively, anyway) than Mayweather - that's unquestionable.

In that same breath, it must be mentioned that Marquez was about fifty million times gamer than Clottey was.

I completely agree that resume-wise it is a much better win for Pacquiao. But my point is that in the end, these were high-profile boxers in fights that gathered a large audience, but in which there wasn't much of a fight.
