You know that for sure? Why don't you ask Cotto who has fought both of them.

I want Pacquiao to crush Floyd.

But people are getting way to carried away. Pacquiao beat Clottey the way EVERYBODY thought he would. Easily and clearly. He looked alittle better doing it then we thought, sure, and good for him, but this in no way changes the match up with Mayweather.

Still the highest class matchup in boxing.

It'll be a great fight either way and they will be the best opponent's that each fighter has faced. Really depends on how Mayweather fights manny. If he does that potshot style then he'll lose on points just because of manny's workrate. If Floyd throws enough punches while maintaining his defense then he'll score a UD. It's up in the air and can't be settled until they two fight.

Truth is the fight will never happen. I don't see Floyd throwing the testing thing out the window and I don't see Pac coming off the EPO or PED's and allowing himself to be tested

He wasn't punching? Really? Tell me something I didnt know. Of course not, because Pacquaio's relentless attack wasn't allowing him to do so. Pacquiao's offense was so overwhelming, it never let Clottey get comfortable or confident enough to even attempt to open up, something he has done in every other fight except this one against Pacquiao. Some credit should be given to Pacquiao, because he has been the only guy to thoroughly dominate Clottey; whether you say it was because Clottey wasn't throwing punches or was too passive, that was a result of what Pacquiao was doing. If you look at Clottey's Judah, Cotto, Margarito fights, he managed impose his fight and style at some point or another, he failed to do so against Pacquiao.

I predicted Pacquiao would beat Clottey by UD or possibly stoppage simply because Pacquiao is way too active, but I honestly didn't expect such a thorough shutout. You have to give some credit to Pac because he imposed his will, his fight enough on Clottey to where he shut him down mentally and to where the supposed bigger and stronger guy simply didn't want any piece of him.

Im sorry man, there is no way PAc respects floyd... The same floyd who caught a dull JMM with an devastating uppercut coming in only to have JMM stand up and last the whole 12. PAc will find him at the end of those never ending and far reaching combos. and Floyd better be returning with multiple counter powerful combos which he doesnt throw to keep Pac honest.

PAc got caught flush by Clottey, thats fine and dandy, but what did Pac do?? touch his gloves and says "cmon" . This shoulder roll will be nullified by Pac who sidesteps to the right out of view...How the hell is floyd going to use his right hand with someone moving to his right as quickly as Pac can?

This is why i think Roach has really figured out the way Floyd fight..And Pac sincerely said..its going to be easy.

LOL... gullible. Styles make fights. Clottey's style was tailor made for Pacquiao. Pacquiao wouldn't throw half that many punches against Floyd who keeps good distance, is just as fast as Pacquiao and an amazing defensive fighter and counter puncher. Lets not get too happy. This was a setup fight. Size doesn't win fights, and that's the only "advantage" Clottey had. Skill wins fights.

LOL at you people building up Clottey. He had no chance as soon as he put pen to paper.

This fight was a joke and nothing but a heavy bag session.

Disgusting piece of matchmaking by Bob Arum, Pacquiao ducking Mayweather, and cherry picking Clottey as a meat bag. Total ****ing mismatch and this was clear as day to anybody with some damn objectivity who watched the tapes of the two fighters.

Dude, even Clottey managed to land the straight right quite often, and you don't think Floyd will? Besides, when a guy steps to your left you catch him with a left hook while he's moving. You know what Floyd's other money punch is?

Clottey's best punch (when he threw it) all night was the straight right hand. He couldn't miss Pacquiao. Clottey wasn't throwing it with knockout power the majority of the time, but he did catch Pacquiao with a good few shots, and he took them well.

Mayweather throws his lead straight right a lot faster than Clottey. Going by this performance (which was another great performance by Pacquiao), it has only made me believe even more that Mayweather can beat Pacquiao.

Pacquiao is a K'ed TFO waiting to happen. He has a very sorry defense which any elite fighter will expose.
