first of all there's nothing wrong with pulling for your own and secondly I don't think NBA deserves that kind of rep

Your "boy" has one KO in the last 6 years!!!

You may want to rethink any wagers you have...

This is a distinct possibility and what makes this an interesting fight, despite what general sports-but-non-boxing fans might be led to believe by ESPN and the rest of the media.

I had the same feeling during the first 3.75 rounds of the Pac-Cotto fight, that Pac was right on the edge of getting brutally knocked back down to 140 where he belongs.

Even true welterweights never look good against Clottey. How will a blown up LW/JWW fare? Damn I'm nervous! Ahhhhh it feels good to be alive in the Manny Pac era!

Here's what a nationally televised ESPN sports show thinks:

Clottey must show more intensity and hunger remain me of Quartey both are big welters with a small heart. He lacks the killer instinct so critical in boxing no way he will pull a decision vs PAC if in doubt ask JMM.

I got pacquiao in less than 9 but I think Clottey has gotten himself into shape for this the problem is he blocks too much while he is squared up.... Pac wins here but has to put in a little work to get that win.

Clottey landing the clean hard shots showed that he potentially has the power to knock out Pacman, and Pacman is way too hittable, but I think Clottey was in a catch 22. If he actually opens up and follows up on the times he stunned Pac, he runs the risk of getting caught in an exchange a-la Cotto. OTOH, if he does what he ended up doing, he loses every round. He chose to take no risks and did the latter.

Overall, crap fight. Reminded me of the Khan-Kotelnik fight.
