So why is everyone dissapointed with their purchace if they knew that it was a **** card, and turned out to be one?

heck, i'm dissapointed like everyone else with the main card. The problem with a Pacquiao bob arum picked opponent is as clear as daylight. They can come collect a paycheck and retire.

Its pretty sad, but it is what it is.

and that's pretty much any fighter from here on out. Cotto, Hatton and Diaz are the only guys that have earned their paycheck since Pac played with the big boys.

I can't speak for the people who bought it. If you had a bunch of folks over to split the cost and have a social function, that's one thing. However, knowing that it'd just be me and another buddy watching this thing, I passed.

Look, im a little dissapointed too, but I was liking the match ups before hand and thought they were gonna be entertaining...

What I don't get is the guys saying "they knew it was a **** card" and are now complaining because it was one...

Im the one that should be dissapointed cause I was expecting better action, but these guys weren't...

It was an already **** card that was even shittier than expected. And a lot of people who are saying it was a **** card didn't order it and are merely re-affirming that they were right.

Haha wtf do you expect of Arum? He's a businessman. All of the fighters on the card were very good and had good records. The Venue was spectacular. I think anyone who is complaining should STFU and stop whinging.

Most Promoters dont really care about the sport lets be honest now.

    They only care about $$$.

Having said that i will buy a Pacman fight anytime or anywhere. No matter the card because unlike some i like watching someone with that much talent that cares about the sport.

I dont think that Clottey is a bum. but style wise he never had a shot to win this fight. He isnt a big banger and he is too inactive to beat a guy that isnt going to stand in front of him and let him wear them out.

Clottey is limited, and you know every fight what your going to get from him, if you put a guy in the ring with him that is looking to stand and trade or allow him to walk them down he can come close to winning. But vs a fighter that is going to jump in and out like Pac, he has no chance.

Bull****. Just looking at the card the only good fight on there was Soto vs Diaz, and even that was a bit of a snoozer. The other fights were bad on paper and worse in the flesh.

Are you talking about the actual fights...or the fighters themselves because they're all good fighters, a lot better than most on undercards. You have Duddy, Soto, Castillo, Diaz, Pacquiao and Clottey! What more do you want? It's not Arum's fault the fights weren't epic.

did you even see the fight?

castillo---a tub of refried beans on fight night

    Soto---excellent fighter

Diaz---not a talented fighter but he put it all out there

Pacquiao---gave the fans what they wanted

    Clottey---a final paycheck

Duddy----C class fighter. The only entertaining thing was watching Steward criticize his former fighter.

This card was so bad that I had to show my whole family the youtube clip of the AC Transit bus fight in Oakland. Someone even mentioned that Epic Beard Man threw more punches than Clottey...:-:)twisted:

Jerry Jones doesn't need money. That's the thing. Maybe he got a sudden hard on to help boxing?
