Joe clearly thinks Mikkel is the better guy,you could tell he had a lot of respect for Kessler after thier fight.I dont see anything wrong with him helping Kessler.He can help who he wants and he hates Froch so why would he do anything for him.

maybe if Mikkel got in touch with Joe. but th truth is, Calzaghe broke his neck to get hold of Mikkel through his agent to offer advice an any help. joe's more bothered about protecting his precious reputation as the best super middleweight in uk and froch is eating alive all his record. after kessler gets tonked with two working hands in his own soil he will have to eat his own hat after all the chat about 'kessler is the best guy i foguht' bollocks.

 

Not at all mate and i'll accept that straight away. My comment about Nationality not coming into it is irrelevant here. I said nationality doesn't come into whether I like a fighter or not. I have also said before that if I liked both fighters I would obviously support the one from the UK. But I am different I AM A FAN of the sport. Calzaghe should be supporting Froch as a fellow Brit considering he's the one claiming how British Boxing is dying and how he wishes Froch all the best in the future NOW THAT HE'S RETIRED.

Calzaghe's main objective here is to A. keep his name in the headlines and B. Make sure that no more damage is done to his resume (Imagine the **** he'll kop if Froch KO's Kessler :good)

He's a bitter ***** mate :good He had ample opportunities to put very good names on his list of general C+ fighters however he decided against it. That was his choice but he shouldn't be popping out of the woodwork every two minutes mouthing off about a Brit who is doing everything the right way, by fighting the very best constantly. I wouldn't mind if Calzaghe had of fought Dawson/Tarver/Johnson and got beat, at least he'd have had the balls. He's a disgrace to the sport and always was. The sport is now progressing without him and he doesn't like it hence him popping up with this kind of **** now and again

 

That's all I wanted to know really. You have the same outlook; for you it's fine, for him it's not.
