It's boxing, in no way should the guy whose only mindset is to finish 12 rounds with his face intact and not even win rounds, get more praise than the guy who actually tried. Clottey even said Pacs punches didnt hurt and he didnt feel his power, ****ing open up then!

Yeah, but its also why Clottey has virtually no fans. Even less now.

I didn't lose any money yesterday. In fact, Considering I watched the fight, had about 6 beers, and spent only 10 bucks, I think I had a great night.
Now, can you explain me again what the hell Clottey did? Because I didn't see him do ****. Which round did you see him trying to win?? I didn't.
He was the bigger guy. He could at least grab and push Manny a little bit. MAke it a little dirty. Try to use his weight advantage to get MAnny tired. But he did nothing. He was Manny's punching bag. A sparring partner could have done better.
And don't even get me started on Castillo. That MOFO deserves to have his paycheck confiscated.

I'm not saying Clottey should get more praise than Cotto just that I don't blame him for keeping his guard up. After seeing what Manny did to Hatton and Cotto he'd have to be crazy to trade. Clottey went in with the right strategy but once he realised Manny wasn't going to get tired and leave holes he decided to just take the L. People criticising him for not opening up just wanted to see him get sparked out, which he would have done if he'd gone toe to toe. Clottey realised he couldn't win and minimised the damage he took. Can you blame him?

He threw 399 punches over 12 rounds! If Floyd did that he would be crucified!

This fight was a shame and a complete rippoff. I knew it would be no real concession after dunking the fight of the new century.

Damn right he should. He's a p4p claimant, Clottey isn't. Heck, Floyd's even claiming he's greater than SRR and Ali combined--so we have the right to hold him accountable to the shiet he mindlessly spews, and the same high standards that the greats are measured with.

It really isn't fair to Clottey or Pacquiao...Clottey was fighting to survive and there's nothing wrong with that. IMO, he wanted to go there, take in the atmosphere, survive, make money, and be able to say he survived against a guy that knocked Cotto out....I.E. Clottey wants a rematch with Cotto.
