Let's face it: Floyd vs. Pacquiao will NEVER happen. Will this hurt or help boxing?

When Money beats Mosley and the fight has huge PPV buys it's going to be hard for PacGwire and his camp to justify taking home 50% of the pie. It looks like the Pac/CLottey fight will have pretty low PPV numbers and due to the fact they refuse to undergo random blood testing, it will only make it that much harder for Team Mayweather to deal with the greedy scumbags from Top Rank.

Will this hurt or help the sport of boxing? I think it will help since Money will go on to clean the WW division and prove that he is truly the best without a cloud of suspicion over an opponent.:good

floyd has been consistently laying the groundwork to avoid a pac fight. first is the non-negotiable oylmpic style testing and now using the PPV excuse. i won't blame floyd for avoiding pacquiao after what he saw happened to cotto and clottey. floyd has the right to retire without blemishing his "0".

It will sure help this forum because it means Jacory Halfwit will **** off and die. It's all that stupid ***** ever talks about, so if the fight dies he will crawl back into the sewer again I would assume.

I agree it's going to be harder than ever to make this fight. Pacquiao had his chance at 50/50, but after both of these fights play out and the PPV #'s are released, he better be willing to accept 45% or so.

But, no, i don't think it's good for boxing at all.

non-negotiable? He went from 0 days to 14 days. Sounds like negotiating to me. Get your **** together and your facts straight.

but floyd did not make a counter-offer to pac's 24 days cut-off. also, floyd i now pushing for a non-negotiable olympic style testing again basically shutting off a possible future pacquiao fight. i hope mosley kicks his ass so we could see pac-mosley instead.

I'm no longer confident that this fight will happen. I'm not even all that sure a Pacquiao/Mosley fight would ever happen. There's no reason that Pacquiao shouldn't take the tests. At the same time, I think Mayweather should just put his ego aside for a minute and drop the blood testing request. I'm not sure either side will budge, and I think Arum is just fine with that.

Pac went from 30 to 24. May went from 0 to 14? Who moved more? And why is it shut off? It's not an unreasonable request to have a blood sample fourteen days before a fight.

Lol, the only reason Pac went to 24 days was because he got caught with that Hatton video. Now we got him at what 19 days was it for this fight? But he couldnt move from 24 for Floyd?

The 24 days didnt even come from honest, willing to make the fight type of negotiating. We know the real reason you want Mosley to win.

I know Pac is your hero, I dont hold that against you, but try to be honest with your posts.

please. it was reported that floyd never moved his final offer of 14 days cut-oof while pac offered 24 days. and floyd had been constantly making road blocks to make a pacquiao fight. if he wins against mosley, i bet he would rather rematch him than face pacquiao.

Hurt boxing. Even people who don't even know what the hell a straight punch is ask about Mayweather/Pacquiao. I'm the only one in my neighborhood that I know of that follows boxing deeply yet I hear some neighbors asking about it. Say what you want about Don King but he would never let this fight slip through his hands because like he says,"The only color that matters is green!":D

    Are you having trouble reading?

    Floyd gave up 14 days.

    Pac gave up 6.

    Who gave up more?

i know floyd is your hero. so please stop defending his *****-ass demands. hatton, oscar, cotto, clottey has no problems fighting pacquiao. now t's floyd's turn to man-up and face pacquiao or pacquiao would be considered the best fighter of his era. the only fast way to grab this to pacquiao is to face him and beat him on the top of the ring.
