I'm sorry, but Dallas fans were absolutely HORRIBLE last night. They were dead for all the undercards, and outside of some cheering for Pacquiao upon his entrance, and some roaring in the late rounds they were BRUTAL. Crowd noise and reaction creates ambiance and feel for the casual fan and the crowd did not do their job.

You just can't jam 50,000 fans into a stadium -- 90% of them football fans -- and expect them to take to boxing. I guarantee 17,000 at the MGM last night would have been far more vocal and raucous during the Pac-Clottey affair than the rednecks jammed into Cowboys stadium were last night.

Mayweather was right on the money rejecting Dallas stadium, and last night was the proof. The horrible Texas crowd would have been a blight on Mayweather-Pacquiao if it were them fighting in that arena last night.

All major fights can only be done in VEGAS (maybe MSG in NYC once in a while). Cowboys stadium.... YOU SUCK!

or maybe it was just such a terrible undercard and Clottey just wasn't willing to make it into an exciting fight (impressive performance by Pac, but not very entertaining)

You don't know the atmosphere of the crowd unless you're there in person.

they had noone to root for. If you're gonna put a fight at Cowboy stadium, make sure the main event is a superstar from texas, not from the philippines.

Unless its a matchup of epic proportions like Pac vs Floyd which I think would get any crowd going, like Duran and SRL did in montreal.

I think the crowd at Yankee stadium will be epic

I've watched terrible fights for 15 years watching boxing, and I have never seen such a tremendously quiet crowd, proportionately speaking, like the 50K that were in attendence last night.

Then let them START OFF SMALL like any new venue should. Jerry Jones has NO RIGHT to hijack the biggest fights in boxing because he spent a fortune on his stadium. Let him host Friday night fights if he's truly interested in building up his stadium into a boxing superdome.

NO MORE MEGAFIGHTS IN DALLAS UNTIL THEY EARN IT.
