Most of the people commenting on AA have probably been working on a few highlight videos off YouTube and not much else. The guy has an awful work ethic. Nothing against him; he actually incorporates laziness into a fairly effective style - letting opponents come onto him to land the big shot, letting them punch themselves out, etc. It's just a fact.
You can't be serious lol... AA has two fisted power. AA can ko you with either hand...Clottey doesn't have ko power and their styles are totally different.
Abraham completely outboxed Taylor from about round four onwards which no-one else has ever done. Are you sure you're thinking of the right fight?
If Abraham fights Dirrell in the same passive manner Clottey fought Pac, I'm sure he'll be criticised heavily. Abraham throws enough punches to win fights - Clottey doesn't.
I can't see Abraham beating Middleweight versions of Margarito or Pacquiao. He might have a better chance against a Cotto, but even that isn't certain. Abraham is getting pretty over-rated, and unless he lands something big on Dirrell I think he's going to suffer the same kind of over-impulsive backlash that Pavlik did after losing his 0, though he probably deserves it more.
What's this got to do with what I said? I had Abraham clearly winning (by 3-4 rounds) going into the 12th. The point is that Taylor was winning rounds purely because AA couldn't be bothered to throw that much, which isn't a great testament to his work ethic. Pavlik also outboxed Taylor to a roughly comparable extent in terms of the point margins (against a much better version of Taylor).

Yeah and most or all of them of them were in the first four. Given that Taylor wins the majority of the first third of the fight against anyone that he ever faces and then is known to gas and that Abraham's style is to have a look at his opponent early and come on late, I don't see how that would be anything of a suprise.

Well, Taylor was roughly consistent with his activity levels, i.e. ~30-40 soft punches per round, and even that was enough to win rounds. "Go figure". Anyway, Abraham doesn't always come on late. Like I said, he relies on periodic bursts of activity. It's a major stylistic defect. What happens when he runs into someone who batters him for the first half of the fight, and then has him worn out? Or can then take his shots when it gets late? He's ****ed.
Are you talking about Miranda I fight right there? You gotta realize Miranda caught a much green Abraham, and broke his jaw in two places, still clearly lost against Arthur. Arthur is a machine, and doesn't just use the turtle shell because he's got suspect stamina, he does it to figure out punching patterns and habits of his opponents.
