Clottey just fought his normal fight. People need to go back and watch the fight again. He's always been a very passive attacker. He picks his spots. Manny just had a perfect gameplan to deal with him.

 

It sure as hell did look like Clottey was paid to take a loss from Manny. Most of those punches Manny threw were hitting the gloves of Clottey. The only other place you can see this kind of choreography is watching WWE! This was some bull****.

 

But I bet Floyd beating Baldo and a blown up Marquez was a great victory right?

Clottey is a good fighter. He arguably beat Cotto. Dominated Zab Judah. Would have beat Margo if not for his injury.

Would Floyd ever step into the ring with Clottey? No.
