He's top 25 ... his body of work is good but there are fighters out there who have accomplished much more. I used to knock Pac's status but he's top notch and def. an ATG ... one of the best of this era.

While beating Clottey did not lower his standing, in my opinion it did not increase it much. To me he is still around 17-25. Beating PBF and/or Mosley will get him to crack top 10- IMO. Berto and Mosley - top 15. PBF win - top 12.

I think he's top 20 at the moment.

His exact placing isn't really important - he's earned the right to be mentioned alongside the all-time greats.

Maybe top 20. I could easily name 20 or so more fighter who's body of work is more impressive then his. Just because he won titles in 7 divisions does not mean he fought the best in those divisions to win titles plus has he ever unified a division before?

**** these rankings. You will rank him, when he retires. The most important thing about Paquiao is his exciting style and punching rate. You are never bored watching this fighter.

Nobody is saying that but without hating (for other peoples benefit)

who would you say he beat who were top fighters at the time?

    barrera
    moralis
    marquez
    hatton
    cotto
oscar - this will always be counted, remember manny was coming from 135 which was sensational of him

now on top of that he has managed to win world titles in 7 different weight classes, if anything it shows his skill as a boxer being truly great, you dont win titles in more than 4 or so weight classes without being really special

he fully deserves to be in the top 20, also add to the fact he just recently fought a man who weighed in 15 or so pounds more than him and destroyed him

NO IT ISN'T..HOW IS THAT CRAZY?:huh EXPLAIN...ALOT OF ANALYSTS ACTUALLY HAVE HIM AROUND THE TOP 50 REALLY...IM A FAN WHO HAPPENS TO AGREE

I LOOK AT A FIGHTERS WHOLE CAREER WHEN I LOOK AT "ATG" STATUS...I DONT JUST LOOK AT THE LAST FEW YEARS...GETTING KNOCKED OUT BY SINGSURAT AND TORRECAMPO COUPLED WITH DRAWS TO AGAPITO SANCHEZ AND JMM ALONG WITH ANOTHER LOSS TO MORALES IN 05.
