he did his best, he didn't throw more because he thought it would put him in danger, why would he want to put himself in danger with a hard puncher like pac when he knows pacs gonna connect?

you arm chair experts should try fight pac.:deal

yeah there isnt much more he could do. He could have TRIED harder in the middle rounds. But what he was doing wasnt being effective and Pac was going to outpoint him one way or another.

Try, and no he didn't do his best. His best would have been to at least try to move around or to go for broke at one point. I mean by round 9 he must have known he needed a KO to win, so why not from 9 to 12 just step on the gas and trade shots?

he COULD have tried harder but how do we know he wasn't trying his best?

this was his biggest fight on the biggest stage, i doubt he wanted to look so bad.

He should, I dunno, put himself in danger? It's ****ing boxing. If you're unwilling to put yourself in danger of getting hit, particularly when it's necessary to win, then why are you even fighting?

Hatton did it, Cotto did it, Diaz did it, Marquez did it, Morales did it, Barrera did it...

How about fight up to his capabilities? Clottey said he didn't feel Pacman's power while Pacman admitted he felt Clottey's power. For a guy who three only 399 punches, he messed up Pacman's face pretty good. It was obvious that when Clottey let his hands go, he was very, very effective. But the guy has no heart.

its easier said than done, maybe he didn't want to be punched in the face by a hard hitter?

notice what all those fighters have in common?

  10. When you're so unwilling to exchange that your opponent throws 2 hooks with both hands simultaneously because there's 0 chance of a punch coming back, you're doing it wrong.

:patsch Well, not only did he look bad but people will question his heart forever. At least if he tried and took some chances and got hurt, people would never question his heart.

yeah, he was fighting his regular fight basically. And that wasn't good enough. He had to step it up, and it's not in him to do that.

That was pretty funny. As if Pacman was saying, "You do realize we are in a fight right?"

If you want to take a man's belt and to win the fight, you sell out and say screw the face at that point. He must have realized that the few shots he landed busted Pacquiao up, so why not press the offensive. No matter how anyone wants to slice that, it was an embarrassment for boxing.
