In 1997 the British Super Middleweight division was bursting with talent we had Calzaghe and Reid as undefeated world champs, & Woodhall soon to be a champ after Reid,
but our domestic front was good also with H Warton, D Starie, D Francis, C Woods and M Baker all somewhere around the British title level. The question is removing Calzaghe, Reid & Woodhall how do you think P Smith would have faired in this era at domestic level?
I think he would have lost to all, except to maybe Woods due to him being tight at the weight before his career really took off at LHW, and maybe to M Baker, but I wouldnt bet on it with either
    What you think?

He would get battered, below Froch and Magee the Super-middleweight division is desperate in Britain.

Lets hope Degale and Groves live up to the hype.

No mention of Glen Catley...:think Everyone knows he beat Woodhall including Woodhall....:yep

I think he would have not beat any of them and the nearest he would have come to getting a result would have been against Starie who could make anyone look bad...:barf

Imagine Smith v Henry Wharton... He would have got eaten up...:blurp

Just wanted to slip it in. Pretty gruesome scene actually. Tough viewing especially as the guy looked like my mate

He certainly got a bit emotional during the **** scene. However, he didn't look like he had much talent for that type of work.:verysad

The suicide scene was very good acting. Really convincing. He slits his wrists then is like 'What the **** have I done' and really doesnt want to die.
