Dude Clottey was supposed to lose. There is nothing in you that entertains the thought for a second that Arum has anything to do with his lack luster performance. Why would anyone want to see Clottey win?
Lol, Pac seems to be a victim of the Roy Jones sydnrome when it comes to fans. He outclasses these very good tough fighters so thoroughly that they must not have been any good at all after the fight. It was a great performance by Pac. I actually can't see Mayweather beating this version of Pac. He is Prime Duran, Prime Leonard and Prime Tyson all rolled into one right now.
atsch It was a sparring session mate. Clottey was a sparring partner last night. Cant believe your giving Pacquiao credit for pummeling a punchbag for 12 rounds... no, its not Pac's fault, but the whole fight should be forgotten about and not even mentioned as a good performance. Pacquiao could have thrown half the punches he did and still won by the same margin!
wow your a genius so - pac fights the highest available welter - pac dominates him worse then anyone ever has and all you can do is comment on someone trying to give him credit for doing so? atschatschatsch
If Pacquiao dominates: it's a sparring session. If it's a close fight and is decided by a few points: Pacquiao got his ass kicked.
Only because Clottey hardly threw a punch the whole night. If he'd have fought Pac like he fought every other fighter, then I would congratulate Pac, but he didnt!! Pac gets credit for taking him on, but not for the win. If Klitschko was to stand infront of Pac and just let him hit his arms all night, does Pac deserve credit for beating Klitschko? (bad example I know, but im just trying to get my point across).
clottey hardly threw a ****in' punch!! Jesus christ, how the **** was that a good performance? Anyone in the world would have beaten clottey last night, the way he fought!!!
atsch Pacquiao already mentally dominated him for making him scared to throw punches and that alone makes him deserving credit.
AM I WRONG?? Is that the best you can come back with? typical ****in' *******... no argument, just a 'ur an idiot' or a 'stfu'.... YOUR the ****in idiot mate!!! Open your eyes and watch a boxing match for once!!!
When Clottey felt Pacs body punches and Pacs speed in the first few rounds, he wisely decided to cover up all night for fear of getting Hattonized as Kellerman said. I think knowing the kind of fighter Clottey is, He made a good decision because he would have been wrecked and he knew it, thats th reason he fought how he did to salvage some pride that he lasted against a Legend. My only knock on Clottey is its better getting Koed by a midget than looking like a coward. Go out swinging. But Im not going to respect the MAN whos had to deal with 1,200 punches last night, theres a reason he couldnt fight back..think.
Clottey is a top five welter in the same way that Urango was a top 5 JWW. Decent, but ultimately limited, and a large gulf between him and the truly top guys. I'm not sure how beating the number 5 guy means that you're significantly better than numbers 1 and 3. Hell, he'd already beaten Cotto, who was better than Clottey, so there wasn't even anything to be surprised about.
clottey said in the coming weeks to the fight ''if pac knocks me out, then he is on something''... which means his intentions were always to come and survive 12 rounds with Pac... he never was coming to win!!!
