Have to say Ricky Hatton. Im not an even a hatton fan. But when they met kostya was slightly past it but hatton hadnt yet reached his prime - he was only 25.

He never lost a bout at ten stone except for Pac when he boxed the shittest ive ever seen. And ive never seen a battle between the divisions two best fighters so one sided as when Hatton beat Malignaggi.

Kostya was briliant. but Hatton was better.

Much as I like Hatton it has to be Kostya Tszyu. He's in most people's top 3-5 All-Time Top LWW's lists, thought Hatton would prob make a top 10.

It was unfortunate for Hatton that just as he was coming into the spotlight, all the big names started the move up to WW. If he'd been 3-4 years younger as it stands today, maybe he'd have a better chance of cementing his legacy against all the top names coming into the LWW division now.

Gotta go with KT on this.
I like Hatton, but reflecting on fights like Collazo, Lazcano, Mayweather and Pac really make me wonder.

Kostya was 35.... Hatton is already almost a corpse and he in what??? Thirty?????

How about 30 year old Kostya vs. 30 year old Hatton???? That would be ugly wouldn't it??

Definitely Kostya Tszyu and i think he is overrated by some. KT is a for sure HOF, where as Hatton would be very lucky to get in.

    Resume - Tszyu

H2H in their primes - Tszyu murders Hatton.

zoo has a better legacy. he is more respected in general; however, hatton was more popular & would be better known with the casual fans.

Oh c'mon no way he beats them and at least his first loss came to a then PFP #1 fighter no shame in that. I understand what you mean about the Collazo and Lazcano fight they were painful to watch for any Hatton fan.

Yea KT is defo HOF. But so's Ricky Hatton. He was the one who took Kostya's throne after all. and ruled the division untill he ment Pac.

I still think Prime for Prime Hatton beats Tszyu, i just think he has his number, Hatton had an iron chin in his prime, if you can take Tszyu's bombs and land on him he was in trouble only Phillips and Hatton were able to do so,

I think Resume' Tszyu edges it but a prime Hatton would win Tszyu 9 times out of ten like i said i just think he has his number,

As far as legacy goes i think Hattons will be stronger because of his fanbase and eagerness to fight the best

Im probly a bigger Tszyu fan than i am a Hatton fan too

Tszyu definetely goes in the HOF but Hatton has a shot for it too. Overall I like Hatton more but Tszyu is just better. The loss to Hatton doesn't change that.
