Almost all analysts and historians consider pac to be the best of the three

    pacquiao.

this would be the equivalent of hagler beating heavyweights spinks or holmes, or pernell movig up to beat evander at cruiser...

this is truly crazy what pac is doing- sometime i think we re all getting used to it. but its still and should still be considered for what it is- remarkable. smaller men arent meant to beat big guys like this- he really is a throwback fighter- when fighters werent afraid of divisions- and just fought the best. the guy has balls of steel.

Whitaker at cruiser? If he did that, he would be the best ever. That's a silly comparison. 106-147 is a 41 pound difference. It's also known as growth. 135-200 is 65 pounds. Pac was 16 when he was 106. Whitaker was pretty much a career LW.

And I don't think the size differential between Pac and his opponents has been THAT big :huh

When Floyd Mayweather Jr. switches to south paw, he becomes the best south paw who ever existed, so this poll is misleading.

Agreed. He gets too much credit for weight-jumping, although it's still goddamn impressive.

Roy Jones beat a champion in Ruiz in dominating fashion. Ruiz outweighed him by a lot.

For me it's clearly Marvin Hagler.
(Tho he was just as dangerous from both sides...)

One of the main reasons I watch boxing today is because of Marvin.

Lew Tendler. He was good but I like Pernell Whitaker.

Clottey weight advantage really didn't matter since Clottey doesn't use it anyways.

I was talking about the reach and size advantage anyways. Pacquiao hasn't really fought fighters that had a reach and size advantage like
Holyfield would've had against Whitaker, like slantone implied.

I voted for whitaker because i'm biased....Hagler and Pacquiao are probably more accomplished....but talent wise, whitaker
