A message for those who won't give Pac credit

He should be given credit for winning emphatically but the endeavour shown by his opponent has to be taken into account.

Clottey didn't give himself the chance to win and was seemingly content with finishing the fight,but some people feel this is an unfair assessment.

On the other hand if that was the best Clottey could do then he had no place being in the ring with Pac which is what many people said when the fight was announced.

 

Clottey played it safe and I can respect that, however, I think that most people, and most fighters in his situation would have gambled a bit and tried to make something happen. Pac kept up the pressure and forced Clottey to stay defensive, but I also think that Clottey was a bit intimidated and chose to survive rather than to fight.

 

Manny would beat both the K brothers if they fought like Clottey... It was a ****ing joke fight... The annoying this is Clottey rocked Mannys head when he jabbed.,,

Anybody with any ****ing clue knew this fight was going to play out exactly the way it did. It was a joke of a fight and the outcome was sealed as soon as pen was put to paper.

Clottey is another product of Bob Arum hype. This fight was a total sham and the Pacquiao dick riding is pathetic.

Nobody should be excusing that sad display of cherry-picking, match making, and out right ducking of a fight people want to see. Pacquiao and his team are scared ****ing bitches.

Makes a change to see a good post about either Pac or Floyd on the general forum.

In keeping with the objectivity, as good a performance as it was from Pac, he was caught a few times. He was also open for counter rights but Clottey didnt have the speed to make them count.

Floyd on the other hand...

I think Floyd may be encouraged by that performance. There were gaps in Pac's defence which Floyd may think he can exploit. Having said that though, Manny didnt look like he was affected by anything that landed.

Great performance from Manny in a less than exciting fight.

Hope Floyd v Sugar is a greater spectacle, but I'm more hoping that Mosely doesnt cause an upset as Floyd v Manny simply has to happen.
