Richie is from Sarangani and is a fast southpaw.Eden Sonsona is more like Pacquiao in his style and he is from General Santos. This young man was thrown in with a good qty fighter way too early as well (he fought MAbuza) just for Dollars $$ coz the kid is poor and needed the money quick.Buboy's training him now. This kid fights more like Pac not Bernabe He doesn't seem to have power like his cousin Marvin Sonsona.I just hope Marvin trains with BUBOY too.

The Ring is a symbolic title... it is not a real title as the ring is not a sanctioning body.

The argument could exist that Pac did not truly win a title at 140 (since Trasero wants to get technical )

    officially the ring is:

"The Ring is not a sanctioning body but is a boxing magazine that was founded in 1922. In 2002, The Ring created a championship system that is "intended to reward fighters who, by satisfying rigid criteria, can justify a claim as the true and only world champion in a given weight class."[14] The Ring claims to be more authoritative and open than the sanctioning bodies' rankings, with a page devoted to full explanations for ranking changes. A fighter pays no sanctioning fees to defend or fight for the title at stake, contrary to practices of the sanctioning bodies. There are currently only two ways that a boxer can win The Ring's title: defeat the reigning champion; or win a box-off between The Ring's number-one and number-two rated contenders (or, sometimes, number-one and number-three rated).[15] There are also only three ways that a boxer can lose The Ring's title: lose a championship fight, move to a different weight class, or retire.[15] (The Ring does not strip its champions' titles like the sanctioning bodies do.)"

He isnt a phony champ because he isnt a champ. He's probably the best in the division outside of Darchinyan who is the champion.

the roles were reversed in this fight. marquez fought like a pinoy(brawler) and mepranum fought like a mexican(technical). haha. but seriously, pareng asero.. you need to shut da fak up! these type of discussions get ugly fast. just enjoy pacs victory cuz he probably has 1 more fight. be a fan of all boxers, not just our pinoy boxers.

To me, The Ring Belt ranks above any alphabet belt anyway. Plus, the champion makes the belt.

I dont forget that and I think he'd do it again BUT that was at 112 at 115 Vic is clearly the best fighter in the division(resume wise) and is the champion. Donaire has done pretty much nothing sinc the Darchinyan fight and the only reason why he is considered the #2 in the division is because of the Vic fight.

Make one but he isnt. The interim title is nothing more then a token that you can exchange for a title shot. Just a way for the crooked ABC chumps to get more money outta fighters.

What do you think is the difference between an interim belt and winning a vacant belt:huh Not much IMO im kind of in between on this one to say if it should be considered or not. Beating an undeafeated legitimate top contender Rocky Juarez was an impressive win for Soto. Juarez was tougher than alot of other opponents who fight for vacant titles, and even better than some champions.
