he told his man to take some risks. He could have been more on the motivational side.

He said he did have the key to beating pac. not sure if the plan was carried out though properly.

Would Clottey's other trainer make a difference?

On another note, once I saw Miguel Diaz as Roach's 2nd in command as cutman, Pac had a big advantage.

Miguel Diaz is one helluva trainer. His fighters usually win on the cards here in Vegas.

One thing I liked was that he told his fighter the truth. Some trainers dont do this but he told Clottey straight:

    "You haven't won a round"
    You need to take chances"

If DeJesus went into Norman Stone mode or said, "you gotta dudududududdut to the head and then dududududududdut to the body" he would have won me over.:smoke

I dont know if it was part of their strategy, and that was the "key" Lenny was talking about, but I noticed during the first half of the fight, Clottey's lead foot was sneakily stepping on Pac's lead foot from time to time, and it would have hindered Pac's lateral movement, balance and punching leverage.

Plus the uppercuts, lead rights and the jab, that they probably planned to utilize against MP were working pretty well, whenever it was thrown.

I think the plan was to pick it up in the later rounds to see if Pac outpunched himself and if Clottey could survive the onslaught. Pac just kept it raining though. that seemed like the plan. Plans go out the window once you're getting punched though.

Lenny did find the key to surviving Pac but not beating him. Not even close.

  7. I believe he had the key. The plan was to heavily guard for 4 rounds to let pac tire a tad and slow down and then counter the **** out of him. But Clottey and Arum had different plans.

Clottey had dreams of retiring in Ghana, Arum's plan is to probably pit Margarito against Pac.:-(
