Well of COURSE Mayweather asked Shane for blood testing! I like Floyd, but would have lost ALL respect for him if he asks someone who who has never tested positive to take a blood test, and NOT ask someone who is known to have used before!

    Mayweather is 2-0 against Pacquiao.

    It's Pacuqiao who refused.
It's Mayweather who chose Mosley as an opponent. Mosley is better than Clottey.

Well he asked Mosley for a blood test and Mosley never tested positive either...... because he passed the urine tests issued by the NSAC.

You do know that the Texas State Athletic commission didn't see any reason to do ANY testing for the Pac/Clottey fight right?

    Apologies for that.

It was just that the glaring gap in your logic got to me.

OF COURSE Mosley is going to agree to any tests Floyd demands.

For one thing, they're both from the same 'stable.'

For another, Mosley doesn't bring the same bargaining power to the table.

And finally, it's scarcely an issue for Shane as he is agreeing to it to

    a) get a big money fight

    and

    b) provide 'cover' for his 'stable mate'

    Final point.

Mosley's name has been associated with steroid use in the past, therefore there would be a modicum of reason in asking him to take a test.

Once again, apologies for my earlier reactionary post on this matter.

FMJ is not in the Golden Boy "stable". They co promote. By your logic that makes Manny a GBP fighter too. :think

    Clottey brought bargaining power?

So Pac didn't test to get a "big money fight"? And we addressed your "stable mate" logic.

Holes all in this stuff. :nono

It's cool. Plus to add with what you said Shane has been linked to BALCO so I understand Floyd still wanting tests. Don't get me wrong I love both fighters and Shane is my fav fighter.

Void will never fight Pac, but I think Mosley would. Void is void. Void fans hate Pac because Pac made Void run an hide, make up lies. Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac, right after Pac stopped Cotto, after that they went on a negative campaign to discredit Pac, claiming that Pac was a druggie, with zero proof of such.

    No.

    Manny is an Arum fighter.

    Floyd is co-promoted by GBP

Clear links between Shane and Floyd in the promotion department.

No links between Floyd and Pac.

What part of that is difficult for you ?

You lol too much. What has this got to do with anything ?

No, he didn't. He got a big money fight WITHOUT testing.

    You tried. But failed.

    Yes. sure there is.

Fact is, Manny was perfectly willing to fight Floyd under the usual protocola that governed all of their previous opponents.

Floyd wanted more. (Mind games/ excuses).

Final point. Pac was willing to have blood tests immediatelly post-fight. This would have detected anything present during the fight.

Floyd just didn't want the fight.

Without the earthquake, Shane would be facing Berto and Floyd was trying to arrane a fight with Malinaggi or Hatton's little brother (or even his little sister), all of which were inferior to Clottey.

    Cool.

I'm a fan of nearly all current WWts (except Floyd).

I have also stated numerous times that Floyd was the best overall fighter at WW.

Don't know to call him best at 147 yet but he is surely the most skilled.
