Great news if it's true, but we do this every time, get our hopes up, and it always ends up on none of them or SKY PPV.

I fear this may be a bit of cheap PR to get the fight out there in the press though, get people who normally wouldn't be interested, interested, thinking they are going to be watching it on terrestrial, only to find they aren't and end up getting the PPV rather feel let down. I hope I'm wrong though.

    Frank would be spitting feathers.

This would **** over his Mitchell Katsidis PPV for that night.

It's the done thing though isn't it, why? Does my head in, every **** & his mate on Facebook spells it like that.

Would be great if ITV got the fight though, they should get a domestic programme back up & running too.

my one worry is that this is just a political posturing game by the Khan camp to get Sky to drop their financial demands.
    Time will tell

Surely it would never be PPV without Khan as a US leg as well?

The casual fans won't be interested, and they would make up the majority of PPV sales.

If this actually happens I can only imagine what Carl Froch has to say about it.

Yeah, they could get A PPV out of Mitchell-Kats if they stacked the undercard.

Sky won't deal with Froch's promoter. How well has that relationship held up with ITV? The fact Froch's fights have not been shown suggests not as well as it might. Although to be fair, ITV pretty much imploded last year. They were told to save money (to produce those £25 mill 'profits' after the £3 billion loss) and boxing was a quick and easy hatchet job.
All of which underlines the 'believe it when you see it' conclusion.

Hmm well let's see... A card in Vegas the main event starts a roughly 4am. BUT Pacquiao's fight in DALLAS started at about 4.30! DALLAS is 2 hours ahead of vegas, and Britain is 6 hours ahead of DALLAS, and Vegas is 8 hours behind Britain and dallas is 1 hour behind NEW YORK, and NEW YORK is 5 hours behind Britain, so mathematically with the different time zones considered... There will be approximately 7 new threads started on may 15 asking when khan-paulie starts.

    people dont know mitchell though

its the classic problem khan is well kown and will generate buys against a **** poor opponent

mitchell fights a realy competitive fight and couldnt draw flies ( iknow hes got a fan base but not a PPV fanbase)
