Definitely has his worked cut out for him, but with that said he's the only fighter who matches up from 130 to 147 against him....even 154. Floyd's talent, ablility and skills are all on level with manny. So he could potentially have the style and attributes to beat PAC. But.....PAC's style and attributes are more troublesome for Floyd in this one....I see PAC out working Floyd while Floyd wins some rounds on more effective and cleaner shots...it won't be enough to win the majority of rounds due to his conservative natrue.

im a mayweather fan, of course he would have his work cut out for him against pacquiao, to say different is absurd, he would have to use his jab and pop off that straight right often to attemp to slow pacquiao down and keep him at a bit of a distance, land his combos and ALWAYS be looking to counter when pacquiao is on the attack

First he needs to get past Mosley and then he has to find the courage to sign the contract to fight Pacquiao.

I think pac is made to order for mayweather. Floyd has the height, reach, better skills and defense. I have yet to see pac face a fighter with good head and shoulder movement at ww. At the lower weights JMM and Em gave him problems with that along with the jab.

If Clottey had more connection than Manny 27 to 20 percent i wonder what Floyd will do to him with perfect defense and and perfect counterpunching.

I can see Floyd knocking out Manny. In fact, I really don't think this fight goes 12 and would expect a KO/TKO win from Floyd.

Pac fanboys will tell you that Pac's chin is greatest in boxing and that Mayweather is feather fisted and incapable of hurting their hero.

The truth is, Mayweather has knocked guys silly with much better chins than Pacquaio.

Close, competitive fight though and each is the only guy (within reason) with a genuine chance to beat the other.

I think Mayweather can definitely beat him, but it won't be easy. He needs to constantly stick his jab in Pacquiao's face for 12 rounds, in turn disrupting Pacquiao's attacks. The straight right has always seemed to work a treat on Pacquiao. Keep a good distance at all times, trading with Pacquiao would most likely be a big mistake. Although in his 130-135lbs, Mayweather could stand with his opponent and unleash some scarily accurate combinations.
