Great news if it turns out to be true, get buncey in the studio with the return of the big fight live theme and they CANNOT go wrong

Iam sure It has been in media lately that itv want to start a pay tv buisnnes for sport and other entertainment so if this is on itv it would be a great build up to that which is great and we could have a lot more boxing avalible through itv :happy

A sound piece of Cleverley level mathematical deduction there :deal

**A switch to ITV will also result in a dramatic fall in the number of "Who is buying this PPV" threads

A bit of digging tells me the Mirror is right.

This would be great, the prodigal son returning, thats right, i'm talking about the Big fight Live music, then again the Judge jools one made for Amir Khan was awesome too!

Anything aside from the dreadful Mr Capone one he comes to the ring with, thats just embarassing, worse than the one Degale came with in his last fight.

The Juan Urango v Devon Alexander fight the other week came on air at half 2, and started at 2.45. And that is VERY early for a main event fight on HBO (Showtime tend to start at about 2, but usually have one fight before the main event.)

Stuff like that, and the way boxing works tells me it'll start at 2am at the absolute very earliest but it could be later. That's only 9pm on the east coast, and earlier in the west where they could show it on tape delay a few hours later so its prime time. Even that starting time is unlikely.

Just a wacky bit of info about time zones. NBC showed the Winter Olympics on a 3 hour tape delay on the west coast, so it was shown in their prime time! So they didn't get much stuff live at all. Enough of time zones, that ITv showing boxing, eh? Who woulda thought it:D

It would get big live audience ... and could be repeated at least once the following day. It all depends on figures being asked. If it is right Sky were asking for 40,000 first buys, that would not have left a deal for Khan, and he knows it. So a figure of, say for arguments sake, £600k for ITV might work for both.

Buncey and Barry sometimes looks like an exercise in mutual loathing
