Pacquiao beats the crap out of Mayweather

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by Crax Sellerman, Mar 15, 2010.

  1. Been watching replays of Mayweather vs. Corley and Mayweather vs. Judah, and it's pretty obvious Floyd does not deal with southpaws very well at all. I can see Pacquiao KOing him early or even making him quit on his stool.

If Manny is as ferocious against Floyd as he was with Clottey, Floyd doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

He wouldn't even have Jacory Harris's chance on Jeopardy.

Watch Pac/JMM 2 for how Pac does with good counter punchers.

Wait until he gets in with a great one.

lol that's what I'm saying. The same Floyd who fought Judah would get sparked by Pacquiao. It wouldn't even be very competitive, imo.

What people don't realize is Floyd isn't the same guy when he fights southpaws. He has to utilize a different style and fight in a high guard. It's a completely different kind of fight.

His lack of power and passive defense will loose him the fight, imo. You aren't gonna beat Pac with a couple potshots.

That is one possibilty, I don't think pacquiao was that special against clottey.....he had to do much more thinking in there...and clottey has no foot work at all, and let pacquiao pile up points....

Mayweather will be moving...Pacquiao's activity rate will decrease because of floyd's style....and will probably have a connect rate of less then 25%, maybe even 20%.....Floyd will hit Pacquiao with ease, and may have a connect rate north of 35%, maybe 40% in rounds....

Mayweather will land straight rights at will, and jab to control the ring.....

Listen to Crax, the man knows his boxing

  7. JMM is a counter puncher that's willing to exchange. Floyd is willing to tuck tail and run.

    Not a valid comparison.

Pac hasn't fought a good counter puncher since Marquez. Mayweather ****s him up with counters and UDs him.

Floyd Vs Hatton? Mayweather was infront of Hatton all night waiting in the pocket, there are plenty of other examples of Mayweather being willing to exchange.

It wouldn't really. Not the Floyd from the Judah fight anyway. And that was probably a better, sharper version then he is now.

I'll just see how Floyd handles Mosley before I draw further predictions to a Pac/May fight.

  15. Because exchanging with Ricky Hatton is the same as exchanging with Manny Pacquiao.

Matter of fact, ask Ricky Hatton himself about that.
