If miranda can somehow get off before Bute he has a chance for a KO besides that its an easy ko for Bute unless he gets caught and puts his skates on. I don't see this fight going to twelve someone will be sleeping during the refs 10 count

Some props, sure...but even if he takes Miranda out in a single minute, KOing Andrade will be the bigger accomplishment, in my view. This is a step backward for Lucian, no matter what.

I think Bute is gonna win, but Miranda has a decent puncher's chance. Bute's chin isn't all that....I seen the dude get KO'd in the amateurs....

I've nothing against Brinkley. He's earn his shot by keeping busy and winning.

Problem is he's not high profile enough for Bute to care about him. He has bigger fish to fry now. Bute will only fight him if the IBF leaves him no other choice. It's not that Bute's scared or anything like that. It's just that fighting Brinkley means no HBO.

I think Interbox might want to get him (Brinkley) out of the way this summer (possibly in Romania) to pave the way for a fight with Pavlik at the end of the year.

Bute took out two pretty tough guys back to back with body shots no less and still doesn't seem to get much credit on this site. Sure, Zuniga is a tough guy but you think, "well, he was above his best weight". Then comes Andrade...... :scaredas:

I give Brinkley props for earning his shot, but geez. The orgs forcing fights with guys who don't belong in the ring at this level is going to get someone killed.

The Zuniga win gets dismiss because Zuniga was never in the fight. I'm not sure he even landed a single meaningful punch in the entire fight. Bute totally outboxed him and made him look like a fool. In reality, Zuniga is one tough SOB who gave many good fighters a tough fight.

Miranda, hits hard but I am suprised so many think he has a chance to win this. It should be a very easy night for Lucian.

You're neglecting to mention by whom. Golovkin in the amateurs would likely KO a majority of top middleweights.

Bute's chin is fine, and besides, he's improved a bit defensively since way back then. :good
