EM, JMM and MAB aren't too far behind him. Duran has ONE victory over a great fighter. ONE. He got smoked in two rematches, QUITTING once. He got one-punched by Hearns, outclassed by Benitez, lost to Kirkland Laing and several other mediocre fighters. His biggest achievement is his outstanding beard and staying in the ring til he was 50.

Duran is the most over-rated fighter in the entire history of the sport, and second place isn't even close. Manny puts his head on a swivel, makes him quit in three rounds.

i even think duran would have lost to arguello. He never fought Alexis competition at 135 believe it or not read the resume and if the right of hearns landed on duran so would Alexis right hand and Duran would have been stopped but he would have made an excuse that he had to use the bathroom during the fight so no one would believe he lost to Alexis

Are you gonna continue to make a fool of yourself by saying that Duran has as good a record of beating HOF and ATG competition as Manny?

You can make a case that marcel is better than cotto but please remember that duran fought marcel with marcel having to move up in weight.

That's why Freddie Roach admitted in an interview that Duran would kick his pupil's AZZ.:patsch

It's hard compare current fighters to the fighters of the past. People are too emotional from all their amazement and excitement of what just happened to be rational. Think of it like a fight. Someone might be getting their AZZ beat for the first part of the rounds, but if they finish strong they can steal the rounds.

dejesus cannot be mentioned in the same sentence as Thomas Hearns or Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao would have made Duran look second rate as all the greats he ever fought did. Oh I forgot Duran had a tummy ache.

manny loses to morales and makes excuses, lets anaylize who manny has beaten, he beat a mark barrera who was shopworn a professional 15 years with 64 fights when they fought, he beat morrales in the 2nd and 3rd fights who was 14 yearsand 50 plus fights in fighting his whole career as a boxer brawler, and when all know they diminish quickly, he really hasnt ever truly beaten jmm, he beat a weight drained dlh who got busted up by steve forbes in his previous bout, he beat the same ricky hatton who everyone on this site has said is overrated time and time again, he beat a limited and damaged goods version of cotto, and wow he just beat a guy who just lost to cotto. If you really look at it his quality of opposition, really isnt that good.
