    Funny.

Pac is no higher on any legitimate atg list after the Clottey win as he was after he beat Cotto.

Meaning - Pac ranks the same now as he did for the past 6 months.

And no, no one (legitimate) has ranked Pac over Duran in the past 6 months.

and there is this probability that pac may get the lineal championship at 147. If that happens, I don't think being a lineal champ at 112 and 147 again, will ever be accomplished again.

Duran of course is the only fighter in history who ever fought in 4 different decades.

No Lightweight champ ever won the Middleweight title either. Nobody else ever beat Leonard at Welterweight.

Duran did lol j/k man. Precisely, I'm not saying pac is greater than duran, i'm saying that pac has a shot at being greater is slowly inching in, do you agree with this probability?

Can't believe some of the answers i'm reading from folks on this thread. Touchy subject though. Let's all settle down, i know it's all Manny mania at the moment and deservedly so. He's the proven best, and rightfully regarded as an all time great. Duran deserves much much more respect coming to your conclussions.
Off memory "Hands Of Stone" in his prime reigned as lightweight champion for 7 years, dominated everyone. Stepped up to welterweight, first and only to beat a prime sugar ray leonard. Through his later career Duran always had weight issues among other things. And after so many times people said he was finished, he kept coming back. Lost to Benitez, but came back to destroy Davey Moore. First and only beside Leonard to take Hagler the distance through his middleweight domination. Hagler was a wrecking ball through his championship reign. After a devastating KO from Hearns, came back years later to beat Iran Barkley in a classic who had come off a KO over Hearns. Fought right across the 90's. The longevity.
Above all things Duran must be respected for what he did in his prime. Arguably the greatest lightweight ever. My opinion...Duran was greater

The probability is there, but I think both Mosley and Mayweather beat Pacquiao at Welterweight. Only time will tell but as of right now, I have Duran comfortably ahead of the Filipino.

Fair enough. From my point of view, Pac has a chance of beating either mosley or floyd, this we will have to see. I'm hoping mosley wins the may 1 fight so there won't much hindrance to make this fight happen for the ringmag WW lineal championship. If you know what i'm saying.

Not at all, I want Mosley to win. That way, Shane will fight Manny without the drug test rubbish and I really can't see Manny going toe to toe with a monster like Mosley and coming out on the winning end. I've been wrong before.

I agree with everything you just said but the thing is pac's career isn't over yet. If pac loses against either mosley or floyd, nobody can stop from moving to middleweight and fight pavlik to become the smallest middleweight champion of all time. lol

I thought I won't see manny going toe to toe with hatton let alone cotto. Won't be surprised if I see him going toe to toe against mosley.

I don't think he has any choice because that's his best chance at victory over Shane Mosley, who was only ever close to being stopped when he fought Vernon way back when. I just can't see a Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight coming off as long as we have all these barriers regarding drug tests in the way.

People need to get that idea out of their heads. No way in god's earth is Manny going to move up to 160lbs and fight Kelly Pavlik. He was reluctant to fight Foreman because of the size disparity. It won't happen.

If someone said throw a number out on the spot without thinking too much of where i'd want to put Manny on an all time greatest boxer list, i'd safely say he'd be top 25
